Yes, if you don't like the mk3, but double/triple check all the bodywork first......rust in some places is terminal.
Wait there, most mk3's are terminal rust buckets. I do agree tho because in general it's more productive to maintain a car that you don't have to battle the rust with, unfortunately for me my mk2 runs like a dream but the rot is starting to multiply. Bad times. :angry:

had a look at the car, its got 79,000 miles on it (mot certs to prove) 12 mot 5 months tax , its the 1.8 16v. seems spottles. drives a beuty.  hes wanting £1200 ono.. sounds pretty good i think

Even though I love mk3 lots and lots, mk2 is better handling, and stands out more from the rest!
