If my dealer had a booking in system where the car was checked over in and out like hire cars I would be happy with that but personally I would feel asking them to come out and go over it would immediately create the assumption that I don't trust them

my local dealer does that without having to ask, they have a detailed check sheet and walk round the car with you.. i thought that was standard across the vw dealerships to be honest..

I don't mind technicians driving my car. What I mind is them driving it like they stole it on cold engine.  :angry:

Exactly. ALL dealers are supposed to do this. Most of them just dont bother as it wastes their time I guess!
