I personally don't quite know the answer to your question, BUT if a fitting kit is required i would be tempted to get a genuine one from VW. I have seen some horrors in the past where bodyshops "fit" kits by using self tappers from the outside of the bumper and then smooth over with filler and allsorts! Now i'm not saying all bodyshops do this but just be warned that it is unlikely that they will have the exact fitting kit for an R32 bumper...

You can take the mounts off your existing bumper. You need the wheel arch liner extensions to fill the gap where the bumper is wider, they're about £30 from vw. The fibreglass ones on ebay aren't great.. the replica ABS plastic ones are a little better but nothing like the quality of a genuine one.

From VW a genuine one in primer with the 3 grill pieces comes to just shy of £460 including the VAT. I dont think that's too bad considering 2nd hand genuine ones fetch near £400 on ebay still, without the grill pieces.

which i have to say seems totally pointless when yu can but a whole kit for a lil more an not make it look like something its not (that is just my opinion though)
