You're such a drama queen, Nad! :D  That was me in that thread, & no, they didn't catch fire, it was a hot day at Donington, & I'm quite hard on the brakes - The Hammerite just wilted with the heat!  If you don't do track days, then there's very little chance that you'll be able to generate the consistent heat required to do that.

So in short, just buy the cheapest paint! :laugh:

p.s.  It's not really advisable to use old pads on new discs, BTW. ;)

oh pls the costs are just adding up and up my pads are very new they only done around 2000 miles i cant be arsed changing them again there 45 quid a throw. and thats just fronts

am trying to find a place for mintex fronts and rear discs... and lol sorry i didnt knot that was u in the thread but i read it at work and just pissed myself.

just been down to boyes to get red smooth hammershyte, nail brush steel wool and masking tape got a nice brush too.... amyone know where to get a suitable cleaner from will methys spirit be ok?????

thank god for the invention of nail brushes really cuts through the brake dust....otherwise its quite a time consumign process cleanign this sh!t off

i think its goign to be hard to achieve the smooth gloss finish that comes oem especially with hammersh!te smooth.
