£80-£150 is actually not that bad over a year.

Might look into it myself when I my car. (Q the jokes)

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

The only unique bit is the wheel barrow exhausts and the sound resonator thingy. I haven't seen SEAT mention the sound thingy in the Leon FR brochure that I can remember.
Talking of which I was reading up on the Ibiza Bocanegra t'other day and the way it was worded is that it too will have a sound thingy like the GTI.
Most people who've driven the new GTI haven't even noticed the supposedly amplified engine and exhaust noise though, maybe it only works on full throttle and they haven't dared thrash a new car that hard with a salesman/woman sat next to them?

I test drove one on thursday and instantly noticed that at 4.5k rev and above it does sound alot better. was told buy the sales guy that the other demo they had sounded better the more miles it had on it.

My demo car only had 5miles on the clock when i got my grubby little mits on it... and you will just have to believe me when I tell you I really did spank it to within an inch of its life. sales guy was holding onto the passenger handle with both hands at some points.

tell you what though... brand new pair of sportmaxx dont exactly fill you with confidence

Pardon me if I seem ignorant but was wondering if having a remap affects the cars warranty.  Anyone know? : :

If a fault occurs that can be proven is directly related to the remap, you aren't covered by the VW warranty, and you need to go back to the tuner as it should be covered by their warranty.

Also while doing some data logging on a remapped car recently (mk4) an error popped up that I'd not seen before. It seems if your remap raises the factory set rev limiter the ECU logs every time you go over that limit, which according to VCDS may also void your warranty! (its possible that tuners can/are already coding into their maps a workaround to that little 'glitch' )

If the engine goes no one will cover you, the infamous leon thread proved that!

Think its gone now.

A guy had a leon on finance i think (basically wasnt properly his) and he mapped it then the engine popped and they found out. He lost out completely as no one would pay out so lost all his money.

How did they find out about the map? Revo reckon it's not detectable, even by the VW techs.
