Revo seemed to be the way to go for the MK5. however those with more mods than just a map seemed to vary their opinions a fair bit. Never seemed to be a right or wrong map just individual preferences.

I kinda like the idea of using bluefin then being able to remove or remap it myself when required.

A remap alone seems to bring up 260bhp. Thought that was a little optimistic to start with but it seems thats what everyone is quoting

Revo hooked up a laptop to my car at GTI Inters, they reckon they should have a 260-270bhp map ready in a couple of weeks.

I don't think it will be too long before most of the tuners are offering mk6 stuff. REVO have said the engine gives similar results to the mk5 motor. It's early days yet and I don't think it will be too long before we are hearing about stage 2 GTIs once the intakes and exhausts have been slightly fettled to mate up to the new engine.
The brake conversions and most suspension kits will probably carry straight over too.
Bring it on!!!

yes... probably late mk6 spec in order to use up existing stock just in time for the mk7 to be launched
