yeah  my mate was the same to rob .

then he stood and watched the engineering bodging skills go to work  :grin:

amazing what wedging spanners under the head of a bolt and an impact gun can achieve  :wink:


just been out and swapped the vr6 passat top mounts over, checked the seating of the springs etc and the knocking seems to have gone.
