Hi Simon, just read one of your posts in which you mention end July for delivery of your new pride and joy!! Is that from your supplier or just guessing? I'm wondering cos mine was ordered 1 day later than yours so if I may be taking delivery of mine at end of month I will be cartwheeling all the way to work tomorrow!!

Mebbes we'd all better lay off VWKev for a bit as he is getting a tad upset!!!

When my wife took our touran in to dealers to book cam belt change last monday,the salesman came up to her and said he was going to contact us because he`d looked on the system and car should be here by the end of july.

maybe you can help me, in the Netherlands we have corner lights on the Golf VI, but i cannot find it on my GTi.....
you know, when you take steer the car to the right, the right fog light will burn, and when you go to the left the left fog light will burn.......

can you tell me howe i can make it work on the GTi??? vag.com cable??? or by the boardcomputer???

Should be a vag com setting if not enabled.  You could actually activate this setting in the mkv as well but it was never sold as such.  Your dealer should be able to sort it out in minutes.

Can you tell we how you call that option in Englisch??

golfgti5 i think you have to have your side lights switched on and go round a fairly sharp bend over a certain speed for the fog light to come on, i think it tells you in the manual

Carl1 knows the mk6 better than I do but the option is (imaginatevely) called something like cornering lights.  ASFAIK its standard on the mk6.

Again you can adjust their sensitivity with VAG COM / Dealer.

How cool is that!! didnt know anything about it. Does it just work with the side lights on? or will it work with dipped lights??
