new MK3 owner, fitting Rivage alloys. any tips?
« on: 02 July 2009, 19:15 »
just found a mint N plate MK3 GTI for 995 quid, its got a full VW service history, 1 owner until 3 months ago when he bought it and approx 5 grand's worth of reciepts all from the previous owner since new.

is it worth that much or should i pay less??

i'm trying to buy a set of Rivage alloys to go on it. the guy thats selling them is just having them re-furbed and its costing him 100 quid.

what should i offer him for them?? and if i get them, does someone wanna buy my GTI 8v alloys??

Lot more work than just swapping hubs, ask the question in the mk3 section as I am sure you will struggle with brakes etc as the GTI is bigger brakes.
