First time engine modding.

For a budget of around a grand, obviously a re-map, but what else should I do to my 1.8t? I'll be looking to push it just over 210bhp.
1.8T AUM, Remap soon come!

re-map around £250 and de-cat with exhaust system around £450  . a good air intake £50-150  and forge 007p d/v to take the boost after re-map £80 .   if yours is a aum engine then u may see a bit more than 210 my friend
now drivin a golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp ... time to rack up them miles!! as my daily

Imo remap and exhaust best dosh I Ever spent
Gone but still keeping a close eye on it...

Mk4 golf 1.8t AUM Hybrid K03s. Custom Mapped by R-tech to 260bhp. CR hybrid turbo Audi TT injectors / fuel pump, Forge tip,THS FMIC,Carbonio CAI, Full milltek turbo back, N249 bypass, Fully poly bushed, Weitec coils. Genuine R32 front bumper and Genuine R-line rear, Genuine Porsche twists, Anniversary black interior.

yeah remap and exhust (still need my turbo back) then if you really get carried away can start changing the hoses for silicone ones etc etc

Don't think i'll be having an AUM engine, my budget atm is only around 2 grand so i'm looking at older models atm
