which vr6 splitter?
« on: 01 July 2009, 23:15 »
need to get a vr6 splitter? heard that some of the ebay ones can differ quite a lot in quality ( and in price, go from £14 to £35) just wondered if anyone had any recommendations, anyone not to buy from etc?

thought id call my local VW garage to see how much they could do them - £37.48. Fair enough i thought, genuine VW i could justify that............that was one side only!

VW wont be able to get them, they are on back order from germany

The ebay ones are rubbish, i have had maybe 5 now. Never again.

Euro car parts do a propper one, that is of good quality, and bends, rather than smashing. Go in there and ask them and they will be able to hook you up. Think its £15 a side. But worth it.

;)
