What's the fastest you've had out of your Golf and was it a struggle? Or did it feel as though it could have gone further?

just 130 for me on a "private test track" got there easly to be honnest

i did 130 in mine an i guess at tht point it was struggling but when i get her back she shud do 150-160mph easy

A stage1 AUM will hit 150mph(so my friend tells me).

well when mine gets bak nxt week she will hopefully be running 280bhp

she will also be doing the 1/4mile at USC santapod at the end of the month so tht will be interesting

I just remeber the days of my Mk2 GTi 16v doing 145 and wanting to go more, was completely standard too. This was on a track too.

I have had 145mph out of mine the other week down a certain motorway in the west country!.... Suprised me I can tell you!!
