8v and 16v exhaust

are the standard systems the same or is the bore different?

I disagree, i put a VR6 Magnex exhaust system onto my 8v without a reducer sleeve.

Well the VR6 must be different bore to a 16v then!

8v is different to the 16v and vr6, which are the same. But think the difference is only 1/4 inch.

thanks, so the standard 8v wont fit the 16v. does any 1 know where to get a standard 16v cat back exhaust system for cheap?

Probably would be best to look for a 2nd hand one on the usual forums.

If not, have a look at GSF's and ECP for new ones.

I would phone kwik fit and ask them the bore size, i bet they say its 55mm for the 8v, 16v and VR6?
