What car would you buy ? & Why ?

Right then, views required, cos I can be influenced.

Need to buy a motor for daily use,

will have to haul 2 kids about from time to time.

be a stand in for shows when the Mk2 fails again  :lipsrsealed:

lug toolkits around whenever guy needs

will be " smartened up " and thats it.

Passat has 61k fsh and 12 months mot

Polo 1.6 is robiwills on here and a 98, mot

others are ebay / autotrader.

Insurance costs arent too much of an issue being an knackered old coont, but the 1.4 polo  is cheaper tax, and more than likely fuel.

So, what to buy, and why  :undecided:

What spec is the B3? If mine hadn't have been rotten I'd still be rolling in it now. I loved that car. Quick, comforatble, loads of space and and looks the dogs with a drop. Joe will back me up on tis, there's just summet about them.

Sounds good to me although if you can find a 16v GT that'll be even better!

The other options depend on budget. Whats the budget?

Polos are sh1t and just as bad as mk1's and mk2's breaking down. Had many myself.

mk3's are comfy. Strictly 16v ABF and VR6 for me now. Shame the rot ALOT

£50 banger and ride it into the coont that rammed my arse
Show the f**k tard what it feels like.

Seriously though, hard choice between Pissrat and MK3. I'd probs go for the MK3 though, GTi innit.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
