VW Motor oil

Is 10w40 motor oil the sort of thing a VW dealer will stock?
Ive just checked and the level is way below minimum and dont wanna make an unnecessary trip before work tomorrow.  :undecided:

Aye, saw many various types of oil @ VW Oxford on the weekend, 10w40 was one of them.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Just be carefull of the prices, if they are anything like BMW they will be expensive to say the least.

They will be more expensive than say GSF for the same stuff.

Titan oil is what I've always used and was recommended by other members on the forum.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

Heard the quantum synta silver from GSF is also sposed to be virtually the same as the stuff from vw.

They may have had Quantum too. I'll check the next time I pop in, I seem to be going there every weekend  :grin:
