Just got a call from the finance guys.... my car is at the dealers!!! 

Was just calling to ask if i want it now or wait til September Thought it would be best to wait.. but dont like the thought of it sitting at a dealers for the next 4wks :embarassed:

Could you not "take delivery" with registration pending and then they send someone round to stick the plates on in September  

Think of all the test drives it will be getting

You can't make a car seem newer than it is.

If you're keeping the car for 3 yrs the diff between 09 and 59 isn't worth waiting a month imho.

Not too fussed about the 59plate tbh. Just dont have room for it at the moment... and whilst im still paying for the current car there is no reason to have the Gti :embarassed:

You do realise that dealers can reset the milage on any car back to zero... i.e after they have given it a few test runs
