car just failed its mot on...
Reason(s) for refusal to issue Certificate
Nearside Registration plate lamp not working (1.1.5c)
Nearside Front Macpherson strut has excessive movement at the upper attachment (2.5.A.1c)
Offside Front Macpherson strut has excessive movement at the upper attachment (2.5.A.1c)
Offside Rear Shock absorber has a serious fluid leak (2.7.3)
Anti-lock braking system warning lamp indicates an ABS fault (3.4.1d)
Nearside Rear Brake disc(s) excessively pitted (3.5.1h
really gutted as this is going to be costly

Not going to be that expensive to fix, fit a pair of rear discs however.

And when changing rear discs you also have to change the wheel bearimgs!
Another thing to look out for is the ABS ring. You can take them off and push into new discs but if you dont feel confidant then I believe you can get the new discs with the ABS ring fitted.

My new rear discs came with rings fitted, and it looked pretty impossible to remove the old ones, without some serious popeye action going on. lol.

they come off easy mike.. a small screwdriver and a hammer n tap all the way around!!
use plenty of wd40 too
