louder,deeper sound

Hi guys and girls,
I have a 2001 Golf GTi Turbo.I have a K and N panel filter and milteck non ren exhaust cat back system.It sounds quite nice but I really want a louder deeper sound.What can I fit or do to get the sound Im looking for?

i wnt deeper sound to so an going for a decat an more power :)

What does a de dat intail? Im guessing remove th ecat and replace with a piece of pipe then replace when going for MoT? Will any exhaust garage do me a de cat or is it a undone taboo?

you can get a decat off ebay for like 110 an then yeah just a case or replacing the cat back in when you hav an mot only like a 10 min job to swap it over :)

i have a standard system at the mo but iam goin for a de-cat soon i think .. ... aint got the cash for a full mitech.....
now drivin a golf 1.9 tdi 90bhp ... time to rack up them miles!! as my daily

alex why? i dont see the point in a decat unless you are going to have a full system of sum sort

i have miltek but they are expensive there are other cheaper options out there!!

i didnt say i would not get a system just dont have the cash at the mo....  and miltech seem pretty pricey but we will see how things go on the £££ front

ah i jus dont think there is much point getting a decat untill u have a cat back system!

if you want a deeper exhaust note then decat all the way! milltek imo are way too expensive, you can get a good full system for alot less like blueflame, powerflow, or a custom job!

Sport cats have a nice, deep sound.  No need to p1ss about come MOT time, either! ;)
