Colour choice?
« on: 26 June 2009, 12:50 »
Going to order my car today and i'm having doubts over the colour. My first choice was going to be White. Then I changed to Red but on the 11th hour I am thinking of White.

Such a difficult choice

Red looks good even when filthy.
White needs to be kept spotless or it looks like a plumbers van.

Your GT must be from Portugal.  The cars made in Germany have better paint and don't chip.

Check out you VIN.

At work yes. although they're not real, they look like the real thing. I'll try find the pics for you.

Not so Noshy, the solid colours don't have a seperate clear coat which I think it part of the issue.  I can vouch that the tornado red I have is from wolfsberg (All GTI's are IIRC) and seems to be a lot more prone to chipping and minor scratches than my previous pearl black mkiv.
