Having owned 4 sets of Hellas, I say Hella all day long!!

They don't make the front of the car look 'bug eyed' and they even have built in projectors so perfect if you want to run HID's

Plus the Hellas come with smoked lenses for that ultra mean look

Morettes are better, they give out better light, and rare.....for a reason.

Hellas look much better but don't give out as much light hence why i'm going for HIDs.

I think a lot of people seem to be getting confused with something here.

Hella is a brand, not a light. lol! You have the "morette" style headlights that eightyeightmph has, and you have the Hella "Twin headlights" which several people on here have, including myself.

The picture Guy has just put up is of a set of Hella "Celis lights" (or along those lines) which are made by Hella, not a cheap angel eye knock off.

Hella "Twin headlights" look like this:

As far as I'm aware, there are two types of Hella "Twin headlights", non-smoked and smoked, the ones in the pictures above are smoked, the non-smoked have a clear lens, and generally come with plain black plastic surrounds, whereas the smoked version come in a dark grey type colour, with a carbon look effect on them.

Please please please, stop calling the "Twin headlights" Hellas, because you could be referring to standard headlights, rear lights, Guy's lights, my lights and much more, Hella is a brand, not a light lol!

Morettes...

I looked into fitting Hellas then I saw the Morettes and that was that. The Hella quads look crosseyed.
Although I have no doubt about them as lights and they are projectors. To be honest about it almost all of the aftermarket lights I've seen for the mk3 are superior to the factory candle rubbish lights - even with uprated bulbs

Got HID kit fitted too awesome lights! ABT do a design very similar to the Morettes if you can find them
