two piece windows..

hi guys,
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? just wondering if I can replace my two piece front windows with a newer single piece, this will move the wing mirrors forward and get rid of the horrible rusty strip seperating the window, its a wind up/down one not electric.

just get 2 new doors from a scarppy

c,mon some one must know, why pay for and possibly have to spray, and then fit two whole doors when I only want the windows...

i'm pretty sure you can't just swap the glass. i too have the quarter lights and was gonna do this but was advised not to. (can't remember why now though) i'm waiting for some later type doors with leccy windows and w. mirrors to turn up at scrappy.

When i took the doors appart to fit new mirrors, It looked 99% certon that you cant just change the glass. Whole new door me thinks.

              Thanks for that, well it looks like I will have to put up with the doors I have got for a while then as I have just splashed out on suspension, never mind.
