Will Subaru Wheels fit a Mk3 Golf Gti?

Yes I have Scooby fitment wheels.
Had to buy 15mm spacers and long studs.
They have been on for 3 or 4 years now and have been fine, no problems whatsoever!

I purchased mk3 recently and I'm planning to replace its wheels. it's kinda risky and I'm now scared because of what happened to bigmac.

My current alloys are Subaru fit with a 42 offset.

For the past 2 year's, i'v been running Innovit Tarmac alloys. Their a multifit in 5x100 or 5x114. So Toyota, VW and Subaru fitment.. Their also a 36 offset, so all i use is a 5mm wheel spacer to clear my front caliper's. But for info, the early subaru pcd is 5x100, but the newer subaru is 5x114. i also run 215/40/17 on the rear, and 205/40/17 on the front with no rubbing what so ever
