Oh god yeah, These F1s have been brilliant and I will be putting them back on when the time comes for new ones. The slight increase in road noise is a worthy price to pay imo.

My Conti 3's were worse than the Conti 2's I had on for grip!

I would say go for either Goodyear F1 assyms or Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's. I have Sessanta's on the 18" wheels and F1's on the 19'd and there isn't much between them.

I've just had 4 new Vredesteins fitted to my GTi. Ordered from mytyres.co.uk and fitted by IDS in Halifax. They are super pointy, and have masses of grip. Like them a lot!

F1's I would say are better than the Conti 2's that the car came with. Better in the wet and more progressive at the limit too. Plus they are a tad quieter.

My tyres need replacing soon, I put Falken FK452 on in march and there is 2mm left  Am not that impressed with them their not that good in the dry or wet and are noisy as hell.
Had the Goodyear F1's before and found them very good in the dry and wet and were quiet compared to the falkens, but again they only lasted 4 months
Anyone getting over 12k on front tyres?
