MK1 Project purchase dilemma...

As some of you may know, I once had a beautiful mk1, which I sold to make way for the mk2 gti (which incidentally, is off the road - again  )

Now, Ive seen a MK1 for very little money. It's only a 1.1, but its very very cheap, and just needs a bit of a clean and some bodging to make it look ok.

Half of me is saying dont buy it, and the other half says, nah f*k it, just buy it.....

what do i do???
