is it ok to leave parts of a car in primer and use it on the road? im thinking it might absorb water or something?
im slowly repairing bits of rust ect but want to use the car in between. once all the body has been sorted ill be respraying the whole thing

Paint wont stick properly to primer thats been on too long, key up the primed areas after use, and just top up the primer, with a couple of light coats, before painting, other than that you should be OK
