It's a 1.6 8V crossflow motor.

That's my 2.0 crossflow 8V

It is NOT a 16V motor.

Unfortunately, as it's in a Golf3 the only option is to scrap it when something goes wrong.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

well from what ive been told and read

it is a 16v
look up the eng code AFT!
it is indeed 16v i might take it to a vw specialist to see:)

cause from what im told this is quite a rare car, so its hard to tell

but the pull of this car does not feel like 75bhp (which would be 8v) at all
the car has 101bhp
