a question to those with 15" wheels and g60 front brakes. ive heard that you might need to file the calliper a little on some wheels for clearance. what are yours like?

fine, but I'm using 17's ;D
I had to take a smidge off the back calipers when I ran 13's. It's only a small amount though.

You need to go to the dealer and ask for the G60 spec 15" steels or the Passat 4 stud steels. both are similar though there is a difference in the hole shape.
