estate bits

hi mk3'ers.

anyone know if mk3 estate front subframes are the same as hatchback ones?

also, are petrol and diesel fuel tanks and lines the same?

Subframe yes, not sue on the fuel tank.

Subframe is the same but tank and lines are different, i've just checked on vagcat. Obviously for starters the unleaded petrol one will have a narrower restricted filling neck.

Fuel tank is bigger, the capacity's of the three types of mk3 are in the car manuals!

no, hatch holds 55 litres, estate 60 and the syncro 65

I'm surprised the Syncro has the biggest capacity considering they have a prop shaff and rear diff to accommodate as well.
