Valuation
« on: 08 June 2009, 13:56 »
Could someone give me a valuation for my MK5 GTI please as due to circumstances need to sell. I don't need to rush and get rid of it tomorrow so don't want to sell at stupid knockdown price. Basically I wont be using it much now as I am now getting the train to work so I would rather someone else had it and actually used it! It will break my heart to see it go but hey ho.

It's a 5 door 57 plate in reflex silver with DSG, Leather and pretty much every extra fitted (including sunroof, 6 CD changer, MFD2, MFSW, Lux pack, winter pack, Monza II's) the only extra not fitted is reverse park sensors. It has 12,500 miles and is immaculate.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers guys

That sounds lovely. I would have been very interested in buying it had I not just bought mine!

This is off topic, but i notice you have the MFD2 and the highline display. When you are using the nav, does the highline display have a 'nav' screen that displays arrows and road names etc?

I only ask because I have the MFSW and highline, but plan to retrofit the MFD2.

Yes it does mate, very useful it is too. Shows the road name, which way to turn and does a count down to the turning as well!

Its worth what somebody will pay. With that spec. and no hurry to sell a private punter may go up to £16k to £17k - I would have done 'cept I got mine in April! :smug:
