16v Keys for sale on Ebay

Hi,
can anyone tell me about these?  Are they originally supplied with 16v's or an aftermarket/optional extra?  I thought all VW keys of this era (late 80's) had a round black plastic top with the VW emplem....

I have seen those keys with late mk2 16v's before.

My '91 16v has one, but I couldn't tell you if a previous owner aquired it or if it came with the car when new.

they go for silly money, think they have a light on them aswell? u can also get g60 ones

I replaced my broken one with one of these. It broke 3 months later and the light stopped working aswell. Still a good item though to maybe "keep for best" . A nice touch perhaps when selling on.

As nice as it would be to own one i can't justify it now - this one on ebay is currently standing at £58.01!!!
