According to a couple of German GTI forums, these LEDs will be featured on the new GTI-R / Golf R model.

I've totally fallen in love with this version of the MK6 - especially in that dark cherry red seen through sunglasses colour from some of the publicity shots

with the window down driving around it does sound better than a standard mk5 gti imho, as for the toureg comment its a case of the old saying "people in glass houses should not throw stones" as the mk5 r32 looks more like a jetta than a mk6 looks like a toureg, their is no way you would think the mk6 was a toureg purely just on its size alone  :lipsrsealed:
