Looks like you cant beat the original - seems the 8v in all its guises is coming up tops at the moment. 12 mk2's running them, and 9 cab's (though I am sure there is a 16v in there somewhere).
Guess it's all about the torque then :P

I dont think you can say that 8v's are better because there are more of them  :P I wouldnt call a mk4 gti BETTER than a R32 because there are more of them  :-* (sides, 16V's are rarer and deserve more respect as such.... but i could be biased  ;) )
