Number Plate Fixings

Does anyone know where i can get the boot no. plate fixings from? i've tried vw and they said they don't sell them anymore

i've got surrounds, but i can't fit them without the fixings points

Give the dealer these part numbers, see if they 'magically' come back into stock.  Just need to measure the holes on your tailgate to see which one you need

so are they the bits that push into the boot lid? it's just with it saying nut lol i don't suppose you know the part code for the rear carpet fixings? (the black round plug things that hold the carpet near the rear side panels)

yep the square plastic inserts that push into the tailgate.

There are a few, this is one type, again different based on year:

N 90418401 - press stud, 9,5X10X30 - 0.37 Euro

this is the type that goes under the rear seat:
321863119 01C - plug - 0.27 Euro

been to VW today and the parts are on order when i asked the other day i was told they didn't sell the fixings as you needed a special tool to fit them
