Hi, just been looking under car to check for leaks and any problems I can find early to hopefully save on cash, anyhow all seems fine, except i was looking at the steering rack area and noticed a rubber boot (about centre of the car) with a hole in it, Its definately NOT a Cv Boot or the inner Driveshaft Boot (they are all fine (all 4) fairly new they look) Just wondering is it easy to replace?? I was speaking to a mate he said it doesnt have grease in that boot, its only there to stop crap getting in to the steering rack etc... is that correct?
P.S. Will i have encountered some problems now that boot has split?
Any way hope u guyz can help.
Many Regards.
