Clutch Pedal Stop
« on: 06 June 2009, 21:18 »
Hi, just picked this up for my son this evening, 89 8v digi lowered 40mm.
It has the 'high clutch pedal syndrome'. I've read the stcky on this and wonder if the proper 'stop' is still available,  I can't find it on GSF and I'd rather use the proper part than using the 'bolt' solution. Thanks J.

Thanks, its a cracker for £600, the interior is a bit tired and it has a few dings and scuffs here & there, but the main thing is its rot free and loads of history, 157k, a little smokey but got to expect some at that mileage. Oh and leaks around the windscreen a bit but that's being refitted & sealed tomorrow along with a new back box. I have to say I prefer the smaller bumpers.

Thanks.

It has a manual adjust cable so I guess we'll have to slacken that off a bit & readjust it?

just release it from the fitting to the lever arm at the box end to get the pedal out the way.

I think the "stopper" is an obsolete item from dealer mate..
