Afternoon everyone
Just got back from an extended test drive of the new GTI whilst mine was being serviced. The link to my quick write up is below.

In short, I'll be sticking with my MkV unless the R20 proves to be irresistable.
If anything, the test drive made me like my car even more and by the end of it I was well and truly looking forward to getting back in mine.

I think that the main problem with the MKVI GTI is that they made the MKV too good and the little extra that the MKVI gives actually detracts from the involvement when driving.

Just for info Autocar have a road test in last weeks issue and they did not seem to like it.
