A fair treck for most of you guys but in the Highlands from Inverness to Ullapool or better still Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh.  Fantastic scenery and a mixture of good straight empty roads and twisties.

Ive done inverness, went up there a while back, lots of fun.  Although my motor was quickly running dry of petrol and i was miles from the closest petrol station.  Finally found one and the car cut out as i was pulling up to the pump lol.  Lucky

Ladybower dam in Sheffield. Snake pass. Pro drive route

2 mins away from me and was recently voted the best driving road in Britain by the Westfield drivers

Another good route is the run from Windemere to Keswick

Plus one of the better ones is Inverness to Fort William in Scotland

I'm up there again this month. I'll be making at least two trips along there and back as I've been press ganged volunteered by the wife to see two plays at the theatre by the lake in Keswick

A68, just be aware of the 9 cameras, (7 southbound, 2northbound, or is it the other way round!) when u see the camera sign, it is within one mile, so be sensible. Otherwise a fab and usually fairly empty road. Just b a wee bit canny at times, cos there are a couple of tricky bits.

Do it at nightime, when you cant sleep and jus gotta drive, it will leave you breathless.

Cheers

On the VW site there used to bit a bit where people could enter good driving routes, it was when they had that night driving advert for the Golf on TV. Not sure if they still have it though.

This is what I was talking about.

I've tried this website. The thing is when you click on "Find a night drive", it will display "no server found". I've tried several times, same results.

Love the music, the opening video clip and the "Philosophy" part thought !

Yeah so do I. Not working for me either, my guess is that VW have ditched it. Perhaps if we all were to email them they would bring it back
