get the chassis number, go to your local vw garage (parts dept), ask them to check on the vw mainframe.. this will definately tell you if wolfsburg edition..this will also tell you vw mainserce history aswell.. I can get the phone number for you if you need this..
I remember when the mk4 was released we did have a special edition (worked for vw press!!) and vagely remember it having other bits, it had german plates and was lhd but had different interior to the normal mk4 recaros etc..
