How Can I Make My 16v Faster?

Just bought a Mk3 gti 16v and wanna know what i can do (within budget) to make it any quicker?

ya might wanna have a search on here, will be loads of threads on this!!

ya may end up with an on slaught soon... ;)

not familiar with the 16v but i guess air filters/induction kit and a good service will do a bit of performance :)

stripping out the interior is the cheapest and best way mate  :smiley:
other things you can do at resonable price

Good service
Air filter
Exhaust and De-cat
Cams
remap

I agree ady is the one (much better than my passat engine!! this needs 3000rpm before it goes!  :cry:)
