Simple, yet sweet details...
« on: 04 June 2009, 19:25 »
Was parking up is Asda in Bedminster, Bristol the other day (that's how I roll) and saw a sweet Dragon Green mk3, slammed with nice black wheels etc.  But my favourite little mod was the gear shift gaiter in Camo!!  The handbrake boot was also camo but that is a minor plus in my opinion.  Trouble is I can't can't find one anywhere on the net and therefore can't bite his style (don't hate the player, hate the game).

Anyone got any ideas or is a case of whipping the old singer out and knocking one up myself?

Cheers, Asbo

Sh!t...I thought that was going to be the case.  'Tis a killer look though.  If I could've ordered one it would've been fitted ready in time for volksfest.

Was talking about turning a custom wooden gear knob at college today too, anyone got any ideas about what thread etc is needed for the Mk3 Gti as my current knob appears really tight to remove, are there any secrets??

Nope just unscrews, you may or will need to unclip the gaitor however.

Lady bird fur and a 206 gti gear knob. Stitched by my own good hand.
