Best product/method for cleaning cloth seats?
« on: 04 June 2009, 13:32 »
Hi all,

Recently picked up a MK5 GTI with the Interlagos cloth. Previous owner had a dog and the seats are a grubby (general ingrained muck) in places. Any suggestions for getting them looking good again?

Have tried Auto Glym Hi-foam interior shampoo. It's absolutely pants.

The best product by far is Meguiar's Interior and Carpet Cleaner:

The Meg's interior brush is good too.

poorboys APC is really excellent and I use it for loads of things and not only upholstery

great value for money too as you can dilute it - it will really go a long way
