I have already made a few posts but I thought I best introduce myself properly.
This was my first car, which I bought not long after graduating from Uni and its served me well for the last 6 years and TBH I was sad to see it go. Luckily my brother took it off my hands so in year or so I'll have it back.
I probably kept the mk3 longer than I should but it enabled me to save up for this 06 40k GTi, which I'm v happy with and was worth the wait.
I bought it a month ago and it came with, xenons, monzaII's, arm rest, highline, ipod prep and winter pack. It seems to be a well looked after local car with only one previous owner, no parking dents, scratchs and has a full VW FSH.
However as someone of you may have already seen it has spent 2 weeks at the dealers who replaced 2 X monza II's 4 X centre caps, cam belt+tensioner, water pump, timing chain + tensioner all under warranty.
Cant fault the 1st class service I recieved esp considering I only had 3 weeks left of my warranty.
Not planning any mods in the near future but I would like to upgrade the head unit to a O/E one which can pick up digital Radio. Does anyone know which ones have this feature?
Tried to get a bit arty with this one, need a bit more practice.
