Oil temp is from the MFA right?  if so, my MFA doesn't appear to work, it just gives a blank figure.  The only thing on it that does seem to work is the outside temp but when it was 23 C the other day mine told me it was 6 C....

Yeah oil temp is from the MFA, it doesn’t register until its above 50 degrees though but if its still showing ---- after its warm check that the wire hasn’t fallen off the sensor. It’s on the back of the head on the right hand side as you look at the car. I have no idea where the outside air temp sensor is though.

if you pull the relay the temp gauge will work as normal, it only disables the level sensor :)

the outside temp sendor is fitted inside passenger side front wing, i dont ave a 43 relay, mine is a 42 above fuse box

sorted, after 9 years of flashing, pulled relay 42 out, an its done it,i cant believe it, i been askin ages about this, and i seen loads of other folks askin about it, and it was so simple all along, wish i could find proper solution though :laugh: :laugh:

Well done mate!
It feels great to drive without that damn light on.
With mine im sure its the relay that is at fault as ive changed everything else.
Im in no hurry to replace it though just glad its stopped.

cant believe it, i even thought about gettin a small drill bit an drillin the bulb through at 1 stage ,  :grin:
