TT comps on a mk3

I have 205/40/17's on the front and 215/40/17's on the rear

like said before 205/40 will be fine. i had 195/40 on my 17's, but my car is quite low and i needed the extra clearance

im also looking at tt comp (when i find a decent set)let me know how u get on with the tyre size please
i take it  225/45 R17 91W wont fit then

No 225/45/17 are too big and will rub the arches.

this is the tyre size if alloys were fitted to a mk4

Or put on with the recomended tyre size from audi. But even if i owned a mk4 i wouldnt go for that size surely!?
