chrome door catches

just found an audi in scrappy with chrome door catches, he wants tenner each for them, do they fit straight on , are they worth tenner  :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

yer i think early 80's had the chrome handles, think there a straight swop, just use the barrel and everything from your handles, well worth a tenner each

I think you mean the striker catches. I found some on an Audi 80 estate last year. By the look of the mech, they don't fit mate. Look the same when fitted though! I ended up buying a pair from LMR's stand at E38 last year. Very good quality and direct fit!!!

You can modify, but it'll mean stripping the guts out of the case and painstakingly swapping all the working bits over! Up to you, but paying £35 for the pair off LMR seems a better way of getting the look!!!  :cool:

they fit with some tweaking, i had some on my old golf. take them off, compare and tweak until they work.

yeah i gonna go down 2morrow an ave them away from scrappy, an try an get them 2 work, i already ad the chrome door handles 4 the inside :grin:
