Right people i need some help here as im kinda lost.
I have a 'E' but reg gti that has a few problems and im hoping you can help me sort these.
Gearbox...The last owner put in a secondhand gearbox that he bought i have the recipt that shows its a 5 speed box the problem is when the car isn't in gear the gear stick is all the way over to the right...you can put the car in first and it pulls well in all the gears right up to fifth gear but you can't put it in to fifth!! the last owner said it needs to be ajusted but how???
Running...I'm not sure if its because the car was sitting for a few months or if it needs a good run and a service but sometimes when you rev the car and release the pedel it cuts out... if you keep reving the car then its fine and the car drives no problems
any ideas??
