What Oil?

Ive got a 115 PD engine and my mate giving me vw oil but dunno if its the right one, its in a gold bottle and has fully synthetic motor oil 5w-30 longlife III on it, was wondering if this is fine for my car?

Thats the right oil, on the bottle you should be able to see VW 505.01 or VW 507

Right Steve i just checked it, its got vw 504/ 507 on it so will tht be okay?

I have been told i dont need longlife anymore as servicing every 10k

hmm may have to mention this to my mechanic as i bought the oil last time but he said as it didn't need longlife he would get it this time.
