can't fault my local dealers for some good service today - they even changed my aux belt as they noticed it was cracked when removing it and didn't charge for it  :smiley:

sorry to sound stupid but what is the aux belt what does it do? when does it have to be replaced. cheers

its the alternator belt i think; either that or the fan belt

it shouldn't need replacing but they can crack and wear over time

Alternator, power steering pump, AC pump I think, I changed mine as it was cracked  :sad:
