Golf 3.5 front, mk4 golf, bora
« on: 26 May 2009, 21:01 »
Ok, so the golf 3.5 cab has the mk4 front?

Did it use the mk3 or a modified slam panel, mk4 type.

If so, would the bora front fit?

In a word no, the 3.5 front is very different to a mk4 and needs work to the front wings to work ok on a mk3 as they are shorter why they meet the sill.

No worries, to be honest a bora front might fit but without trying you have no way of telling, the door line is going to a big problem but a good bodyshop may be able to get it to fit.

I have seen Honda accords in the states with merc e class front ends so anything is possible.

Strange thing to think of Mikester lol! Considering your recent Vento front end, mind you I have to admit, the Bora front looks a bit gay if I'm honest.
