whats the best engine mods to do to get a few extra bhp on the 2.0 tdi engine? not sure if i'm the only one on this forum with one

user 'Not Normal' (i think ) has a heavily modded 2.0
think he's got remap, removed diesel particulate filter etc etc

Remap is the big one. Can bring them close to 190-200 bhp with moutains of torque
Still sounds like a tractor though imo :embarassed:

ye figured remap would be key. ill look into prices etc. any particular company to go for for a better gain etc??

I had my last 4 diesel cars remapped through Superchips and didn't have any issues with them.
Other reputable tuners are Custom Code, APR, REVO, GIAC.
Then there are the Tunit modules you can buy and fit yourself.

Defo a re map exhaust even more important if you have a dpf as this needs to be removed, airfilter
thats it before going onto bigger things.
Plus some companies will do it as a stage= stage 2 i think covers remap exhaust airfilter

there a way of removing the dpf without changing the exhaust? my first diesel, and honestly have no idea what one is! lol :embarassed:
